Apologies
Its been a long time since this site was updated, there just hasnt been enough hours in the day to send the info over to the web admin.

Latest:
We have had a great start to the season this year making Red at the first grading largely due to finishing second to Stuart Smith at Sheffield and then reversing the placings at the 2nd Belle Vue of the year. A first final win was also superb!!

So racing from Red has been good we have only done 4 meetings from the Red grade but scored a Heat 4th at Coventry and a 5th at Belle Vue.

At one time just to get a 4th or a 5th from yellow was good but to do it from red was totally unexpected.

We have had a spot of bother with the ignition system on the car at the last couple of meetings and so a new system has been fitted and all looks good for Covemtry and Peter Faldings Testimonial.

Just 5 points from retaining the red roof for june so its out with the blue paint for me on friday night.

Thanks to everyone who has congratulated me on making red, it's good to have done it at one point in my racing but I cant afford to do enough meetings to maintain it.

Some have asked me how I found the extra speed in the car and the simple answer is that I saved up over winter and put a new Hoosier and a new rally tyre on at all three of my race meetings in the first grading!. Now I'm using those part worn tyres as usual for the meetings I do and won't have to buy any new ones until July/August. Ok it cost a bit but I proved to myself that if you put the best rubber on the car and pay attention to detail with car set up I could keep with some of the best cars & drivers on track.
so It's all down hill from here!!!
Enjoy your racing

See you around the SHALE raceways.
